🛠️ Engineer – Week 1

Welcome to Week 1 of Season 1: The Crimson Plague. This week is all about unlocking season systems, ramping up growth, and supporting your alliance’s territory push. Engineer is the best profession for economic acceleration — but only if you play it right.

This guide covers everything you should do during Week 1 — including the best skill path, alliance events, map progression, and daily priorities — tailored for F2P, light spenders, and whales.


🎯 Week 1 Priorities

  • 🧪 Unlock and upgrade the Virus Research Institute
  • 🚜 Build 3–5 Protein Farms
  • 🔼 Reach Profession Level 10+
  • ⚔️ Help capture Lv. 1 Strongholds & Cities
  • 🧟 Complete as many zombie first-kills as possible (Mutant Crystals!)
  • 🏗️ Start upgrading HQ (goal: Lv. 18–22+ by end of week)
  • 🎁 Participate in all warzone donation events

🧱 Daily To-Do List

  • 💥 Kill every zombie level for first-kill Mutant Crystals
  • 🧪 Upgrade Virus Resistance daily to access stronger infected
  • 🧱 Upgrade season buildings to generate EXP and resources
  • 🏹 Spend all stamina (always farm something!)
  • 🛠️ Start capturing Strongholds with your alliance (Day 3+)
  • 🏙️ Be online at City Clash (Day 4) for Lv. 1 City war

💰 Player-Type Focus

🎮 Free-to-Play (F2P)

  • Focus on Combat EXP, Rapid Production, and Extra Meal
  • Do every zombie first-kill for Crystals
  • Use stamina efficiently, never let it cap
  • Donate to alliance tech for Contribution benefit
  • Aim to reach Profession Level 10+ and unlock Build/Research Free
  • Assist in Stronghold captures; rally infected for better Crystal gain
  • Avoid PvP early — preserve troops for events and base defense

💳 Light Spender

  • Buy Season Pass or small packs (stamina + crystals)
  • Max Combat EXP early and invest in Building Inspiration
  • Use Build Now (if Prof Lv 15+) on HQ or VRI
  • Stack Profession EXP items after building upgrades
  • Push faster toward Virus Resistance zones 20–30+
  • Unlock more Protein Farms and keep them upgrading daily

🐳 Whales

  • Max season buildings immediately (VRI + Protein Farms)
  • Unlock Profession Level 15+ within 2–3 days
  • Use Build Now / Research Now on key timers
  • Lead Lv. 1 City captures (Day 4) — rally with strong heroes
  • Support alliance with rallies, buffs, and Cooperative Construction if Prof Lv 30+
  • Join Purge events to hit top ranks (zombie slaying)
  • Optional: delay War Leader until Week 3+ — Engineer still scales better early

🧭 Territory & Events

  • Day 3: Start capturing Military Strongholds
    → Max 2/day; plan expansion path
    → Requires enough Virus Resistance
  • Day 4: Level 1 Cities unlock
    → Help alliance capture at least 1 city
  • Week Goals:
    • 10 Strongholds captured warzone-wide
    • 10 Level 1 Cities for next mission

⚠️ Important Tips

  • 🎯 Always farm zombies after unlocking Combat EXP
  • 🧠 Coordinate Build Now around big upgrades (HQ, VRI)
  • 🧪 Use Genetic Recombination every 2h to generate more Crystals
  • 🏛️ Time Building Inspiration before any big season upgrade
  • 🔁 Rotate Cooperative Construction/Research with alliance (if unlocked)

  • Profession Level: 10–15+
  • HQ Level: 18–22+
  • Virus Resistance: 20–40
  • Protein Farms: 3–5 active
  • Map Progress: 1+ Stronghold, 1 City
  • Spending points: Core econ maxed; unlocking free timers

Engineer shines brightest when the base is growing and stamina is flowing. Master Week 1, and you’ll be leading the pack into Week 2.
