🗺️ Alliance Placement at Season Start
The most powerful Season 1 servers don’t wait until Day 1 — they plan in advance. This guide walks you through how to position each alliance across the map for maximum control, minimal conflict, and smooth territory expansion.
🎯 Your Goal
- Spread alliances across the map without overlap
- Assign each Top 3 alliance a distinct lane to a Shrine
- Place support alliances beside them in parallel
- Avoid clustering or chaotic overlapping spawns
🔁 How Spawn Works
- Alliances spawn randomly around the outer edge of the Warzone
- Exact positions are not player-controlled
- However, ranking order + timing of alliance formation affects spawn
- Players can teleport shortly after the season starts
🧠 Use early teleporting to reposition alliances into ideal quadrants if needed.
🧭 Ideal Placement Strategy
| Alliance Type | Suggested Spawn Zone |
|---|---|
| Top 3 Alliances | Spread evenly (e.g. NE, SW, NW) |
| Top 10–15 Allies | Parallel to Top 3 lanes, not ahead of them |
| Small Alliances | Outer rim or gaps between stronger allies |
| Backup Alliances | Near center zones to reinforce when needed |
🛡️ Stronghold Chains
- Avoid overlapping stronghold chains — use offset lanes
- Don’t build in the same lane as a Top 3 alliance
- Use stronger alliances to fill gaps or rear zones
🏙️ Outpost Placement
- Week 3+: Assign Outpost zones per quadrant
- Only one Outpost per alliance per Warzone — plan spacing ahead
- Don’t double-place in the same external zone
- Let mid-tier alliances extend into secondary Warzones with top support
🧱 Coalition Setup Template
- Assign each alliance a sector before Day 1
- Create a shared map showing planned lanes and zones
- Use early chat to reposition alliances as needed (with ports)
- If needed, merge small alliances to secure key lanes
🛑 What to Avoid
- ❌ Clumping Top 3 alliances too close together
- ❌ Random stronghold chains without agreed direction
- ❌ Small alliances pushing into Shrine zones
- ❌ Mid-tier allies blocking L6 paths
🔄 Adjustments After Start
- Use Day 1–2 to fix pathing issues or relocate misaligned alliances
- Shift territory slowly rather than abandoning cities
- Consider temporary mergers if an alliance is blocking progress
🧠 Tips for Smooth Starts
- Preseason meeting = better season
- Use spreadsheets, Discord maps, or live boards
- Let each alliance declare their lane and stay within it
- Make agreements on city handoffs early
