⚔️ Apocalypse City: Capture Strategy & PvP

Once Apocalypse City opens on Day 28, everything comes down to one thing: who can take it and hold it. This page walks you through how to win the war — from the first declaration to post-capture defense.

🎯 Victory Conditions

  • The alliance that successfully captures the city gets a 7-day protection window
  • If another alliance captures it after that, protection resets
  • The alliance holding Apocalypse City at the end of the season is the official winner

🛠️ Before the Declaration

  • Rally lead must have 10,000k Virus Resistance
  • Ensure territory or Outpost is connected to the city tile
  • Full PvP gear and formation buffs must be equipped
  • Stack all rally timers before the declaration goes live
  • Announce war start to all allies — timing matters

🕐 Rally Timing

  • Use off-hour declarations (e.g. late night or low activity times)
  • Time multiple rallies to land within 15–30 seconds of each other
  • Use ghost/fake rallies to mislead enemy scouts
  • Confirm enemy activity — wait for them to go offline, if possible

Rally TypePurpose
Primary LeadFirst hit to break the defense
Second LeadImmediate follow-up
ReinforcementTroop refill after capture
DisruptionOngoing rallies to block contesters

🧠 Tip: Use your Outpost region to quickly reinforce with backup troops right after the capture.

🛡️ After Capturing the City

  • Immediately fill garrison with top squads (10k VR, 2M+ power units)
  • Assign 2–3 timers for ongoing garrison healing and speedups
  • Use rally blockers to interrupt any re-declaration attempts
  • Build a buffer of territory/strongholds around the city if time allows

🧠 Defensive PvP Tips

  • Use mixed formations (not just Infantry/Infantry)
  • Stack HP/DEF heroes in defense squads
  • Make use of Commander Skills: heal reduction, rally traps
  • Always have at least one timer active for garrison swaps

⚠️ Common Mistakes

  • Declaring too early and not being ready
  • Forgetting to time reinforcements right after capture
  • Leaving Outposts vulnerable or undefended
  • Going all-in without backup garrisons
