Military Strongholds are your alliance’s most important territorial structure. They define your map presence, enable city captures, and provide the backbone for your future Outpost deployment and zone control.

🔢 Basic Rules
✅ Daily Limit:
- Max 2 Stronghold captures per day, across all warzones
✅ Ownership Limit:

Example: Capture 2x L3 cities and 1x L6 = 7 Strongholds max
🔗 Must Be Connected
- You can only capture Strongholds adjacent to existing ones
- Think of them as “stepping stones” to reach cities, rare zones, or Outpost sites
🛡️ 36-Hour Protection
- After capture, a stronghold is protected from attacks for 36 hours
📅 Week-by-Week Strategy
Week 1: Setup Phase
- Start road expansion and territory planning
- Capture 2 Strongholds/day in key resource-heavy zones
- Avoid PvP zones unless top-tier alliance
- Connect to nearby resource points and safe city regions
Week 2: Pathing & Positioning
- Continue capturing strongholds to:
- Extend into multiple city ranges

- Lay groundwork for Outpost deployment (Week 3)
- Buffer weaker alliances by claiming edge Strongholds
Week 3: Outpost Prep
- Reach stronghold chains into ideal Outpost zones
- Begin defending valuable strongholds (near L3–L5 cities)
- Avoid burning strongholds outside alliance limits
Week 4+: Long-Term Control
- Capture high-traffic lanes and contested Strongholds
- Prepare Warzone-crossing routes
- Use captured cities to expand Stronghold ownership limits
- Defend high-value zones tied to L5–L6 cities or rare resources

👑 Top 3 Alliances
- Aggressive zone control with all 2 daily captures used
- Expand into multiple city regions by Week 2
- Chain Strongholds to priority L5–L6 city zones
- Push forward and secure high-capacity paths for Week 3 Outposts
🥈 Top 10–15 Alliances
- Anchor zones near L3–L5 cities
- Support main pathing for Top 3
- Take buffer Strongholds to protect weaker allies or flanks
- Defend assigned cities and road structures

- Take edge strongholds in quiet zones
- Use daily captures to farm rare resources and zone bonuses
